A Look at Bronies, by a BronyHello denizens of Deviantart and the internet. My username is Thundercracker417 (also known as Thunderscourge elsewhere) and I am what is called a “Brony” and I am proud of it. This combination of ‘bro’ and ‘pony’ refers to a fan of the recent phenomenon, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, and a Brony is not (often) a part of the targeted demographic. “You mean that show designed to sell toys to little girls?” I know the reaction perfectly, because it was the same one I had originally when I encountered the series. I fully admit to not having understood or even accepted what and who Bronies were half a year ago, but that has obviously since changed.
